Think Your Troubles Away by Ernest Holmes

You are what you know, and the corollary of that is this: What you now know about yourself is also what you will become.

This idea may be more simply stated by the familiar expression “Thoughts are things;’ and there is more truth in this statement than you may realize.
You know that a thought always precedes an act on your part. Also you know that an idea is first formed in one’s mind before some tangible manifestation appears, such as the making of a chair, the building of a bridge, the creation of a big corporation, or even the baking of a cake. Obvious illustrations to say the least. But, on the other hand, perhaps there is much more involved, much more resulting from your thoughts and your patterns of thinking than you are aware of.
